Driver/Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Director, the Maintenance Assistant performs the activities of the maintenance department to ensure environmental center compliance in accordance with Federal, State and Local ordinance, regulations and building codes. The Maintenance Assistant will assist in the maintenance of the facility to ensure a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition; in good repair, free from hazards such as those caused by electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems. As a Driver, you will be responsible for the coordination of transportation of residents to and from physician appointments and other activities in a timely manner.
Driver/Maintenance Assistant Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of laundry/housekeeping/maintenance procedures.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in long-term care preferred.
- Class E Driver License required.
